I recently found out that the Diablo themed chapbook based on a darker crusader, who like the Knights Templar embraced Baphomet, did not win the contest that it was written for. Now, I am at a crossroads and do not know what I should do with it. Does anyone have any ideas? Right now, it is just verse, should I add artwork and self publish? Or should I find another place to submit it to?
Disappointment...
Many in here did not know, but I was in the interview process to potentially become a staff writer for Ripley's Believe It or Not. While the process was amazing, and I eventually made the short list, unfortunately, I found out today that they decided to go with another candidate. I do understand, and wish I had more details, it still leaves me a touch disappointed about the ending. Honestly, I believe that was the perfect writing job for me, and could have been the destination job everyone searches for.

Publication
Being a creative writing for entertainment major, I know that I should submit more of my works for publication to help build my portfolio for the future. Unfortunately, I often blow that off, and lose focus when I see a cool call for submissions. That has changed some in the past month now that I have realized that I am less than a year from graduation.
Last week, I actually submitted three works for potential publication to some different literary outlets. Last night, I got word back that one of them was accepted to Z-Composition (http://zombiepoetry.com/). Hopefully, this piece, Save Me, is the first of many.
Scriptwriting
I honestly never realized how much difference there is between a story and a script until this class. And after two weeks, it is kicking my butt. I am used to being very descriptive and poetic, and scripts feel so alien to me. Hopefully, I can grasp this concept and get my mind back in gear, nothing seems to be flowing right.
